EA readies iPad 3-optimized games; ME: Infiltrator, 2 others out now
Three popular games for Apple's iOS platform have now been optimized for the new iPad 3 tablet's high-resolution Retina display, according to game publisher Electronic Arts (EA).
EA's "Flight Control Rocket," "Mass Effect: Infiltrator," and "Real Racing 2" will be optmized for the iPad's Retina display, tech site CNET reported.
CNET said the three games are now available in the iTunes App Store, but those who previously bought the games can upgrade for free.
It said "Flight Control Rocket," a space-themed version of the air traffic control game "Flight Control," adds several new features.
Similarly, the "Infiltrator" third-person shooter and "Real Racing 2" auto racing simulator have been tweaked for the new device.
CNET said EA presently has almost 50 games currently available for the iPad. — TJD, GMA News
