Summer 'di raw excuse para magsuot ng 'sexy' clothes sa simbahan

Sa kabila ng mainit na panahon ngayon summer, hindi pa rin wasto na magsuot ng short shorts at iba pang sexy na damit sa loob ng simbahan, ayon kay Legazpi, Albay Bishop Joel Baylon nitong Linggo. “That [summer] is not an excuse,” ani Baylon, kasalakuyang chairman ng Episcopal Commission on Youth ng Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), nitong Linggo. “Apparently some of these people have been in the United States because people there, when it’s summer, they wear comfortable clothes because after the Mass they would go picnic or whatever. It seems we have been influenced,” kanyang dagdag. Giit ni Baylon, kung kayang manamit ng maayos para humarap sa isang importanteng personalidad, nararapat ding magdamit ng maayos kapag nagsisimba. “If we prepare for the coming of the president or governor and we are in our best clothes, what more when it’s for the Lord?” aniya. Dagdag niya, sa pagsuot ng tama, hindi nababastos ang Panginoon. Sa pagsusuot din daw ng tama nakikita kung malinis ang kalooban ng nagsisimba. “If the Lord is important to you, be worthy not only by keeping our hearts and minds pure but also dressing appropriately.
