"The most talked about issues were the illegal collection of training and other fees by recruitment agencies as well as the mandatory collection of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) membership fee during the 're-contracting' process of Filipino workers," ayon sa ulat ng consulate sa DFA. Kabilang sa mga tinalakay sa forum ay:
- ang mandatory insurance na alinsunod sa Republic Act 10022 of 2009, o ang Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995
- presyo ng passport at authentication services
- kahina-hinalang recruitment activities
