Report: 3 killed, 1 hurt in Isabela motorcycle accident
At least three people were reported killed while one was seriously injured after figuring in a motorcycle accident on Good Friday in Isabela province. The incident occurred at 2:30 p.m. in General Aguinaldo village in Ramon town, according to a report on Bombo Radyo Saturday. SPO2 Oscar Valero was quoted in the report as saying four men aboard the two motorcycles, a Raider-type (3409-BQ) and a TMX-type (1164-BQ), sped past a checkpoint near Magat Dam. Valero said they are verifying an information the men aboard the motorcycles were racing each other. The fatalities were initially identified as Jessie Reyes, 20; Chris Ivan Gorospe, 18; and Gaudencio Del Rosario, 64. In critical condition is Christian Del Rosario, 20. An initial investigation showed the motorcycles crashed at high speed after their drivers failed to notice a sharp curve and lost control. The Bombo Radyo report also said police are looking into the possibility the victims were under the influence of liquor at the time. — LBG, GMA News
