San Miguel puts its five-game winning streak on the line when they face the Bangkok Cobras on Saturday in the 3rd ASEAN Basketball League at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.   The Beermen is coming off a 68-64 win over the Singapore Slingers on Wednesday for a 15-4 win-loss slate ahead of the Philippine Patriots' 14-4 mark.   “That (Singapore game) was a wake up call for us. We relaxed knowing we have a winning streak and played as if we already won the game,” said San Miguel coach Bobby Parks said.   “But we need games like this to show our character and we will come out aggressively in our next game.”   The Cobras, holding a 6-11 record and at the bottom half of the eight-team field, remain unpredictable when they take on the Beermen in the 6 p.m. contest.   “As I said before, the league is so competitive that any team can beat any team on a given night. That almost happened to us in the case of the Singapore game,” said Parks.   Former Petron Blaze Boosters import Nick Fazekas, who tallied 23 points and 19 rebounds, and fellow reinforcement Duke Crews are again expected to carry the fight San Miguel.   Locals Chris Banchero, Leo Avenido, Junmar Fajardo, Froilan Baguion and Roger Yap will provide the needed support.   The Cobras will be fielding imports Travis George and Gentry Lewis along with Filipino recruits Marvin Cruz and Jai Reyes and Thai locals Ratdech Kruatiwa and Kittimon Wanna. — JVP, GMA News
