Batman: Arkham City’s Harley Quinn DLC gets official launch date
A week after Warner Bros. Interactive and Rocksteady Studios announced new downloadable content for the 2011 hit Batman: Arkham City, the company released the corrected launch dates, delaying fans’ chances to thwart villainess Harley Quinn until the end of May. The Arkham City Twitter account confirmed the mix-up of release schedule dates. Xbox 360 games will get first crack at the update on May 29th, whereas PS3 users must wait a day longer, May 30. It is expected to cost 800 points on Xbox Live, and $9.99 on the Playstation network. Running 2 hours long and featuring new environments to explore, Harley Quinn’s Revenge will put players back in the city prison, controlling once again the Caped Crusader Batman. However The Dark Knight won’t be alone this time around, as his sidekick Robin, the Boy Wonder will be joining him to battle crime and corruption in this adventure. Rotating between both characters, it’s a race against time to stop Harley Quinn from unleashing her vengeance on all of Gotham, after the events of Arkham City. It goes without saying that one must already own a copy of Batman: Arkham City to use the content. However, those who have yet to experience the game can also pick up the Game of the Year edition, which will bundle all of the previously released DLC together with Harley Quinn’s Revenge. The update will also be available for the PC version, but Rocksteady has yet to announce more details for that platform. – AMD, GMA News
