Flying V to roll back fuel prices Sunday

At least one oil firm will roll back the prices of its fuel products effective Sunday. Flying V said it will decrease prices of diesel by 60 centavos per liter, and unleaded and premium gas by 35 centavos per liter, "Balitanghali" reported. The rollback will take effect at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, it added. Other oil companies have yet to announce rollbacks in the prices of their products as of Saturday noon. It was the latest price rollback after world prices of oil went down. Rollbacks in May, particularly for diesel, allowed the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board to withdraw a 50-centavo provisional fare hike for public utility jeepneys.
