"What has Robredo done?" asked Julio Villafuerte, son of Camarines Sur Governor LRay Villafuerte and grandson of Rep. Luis Villafuerte, over Twitter Tuesday night.

 

The younger Villafuerte was asking about the achievements of Jesse Robredo, the highly esteemed Interior Secretary and longtime mayor of Naga who perished in a plane crash off Masbate on the evening of August 18.

 

"Been reading Jess Robredo tweets for weeks now. Someone please inform me of any major accomplishments Jess has done, coz I don't know any," he tweeted.

 

 

What may have been an innocent question was met with outrage by many netizens, who felt that it was a callous —or, at least, tactless— move on Villafuerte's part.
