Highest paid government executive noong 2011

Alam niyo kung saan ahensiya nakatalaga ang highest paid government executive noong 2011 na kumita ng mahigit P10 milyon? Sa listahan ng Commission on Audit’s Report on Salaries and Allowances para sa nagdaang taong 2011, lumitaw na si Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Amando M. Tetangco Jr., ang opisyal sa pamahalaan na nagkaroon ng pinakamalaking kita na umabot sa P10,579,620.76. Sakop ng COA report ang mga opisyal sa government-owned and controlled corporations and subsidiaries, mga kasapi ng Hudikatura, Kongreso, Cabinet secretaries at undersecretaries. Nakapaloob sa kinita ni Tatengco ang P5.385 milyong sahod; P2.026 milyong allowances, P2.074 “bonus, incentives and benefits" at P1.042 million “discretionary and extraordinary and miscellaneous expenses". Wala namang sahod na tinanggap si Tatengco bilang kasapi ng board ng iba pang GOCCs kabilang na ang National Development Corporation, Philippine Center for Economic Development at Philippine Retirement Authority. Sumunod kay Tatengco si Edgardo F. Garcia, ang chief operating officer ng Development Bank Philippines. Tumanggap siya ng sahod at mga benepisyo na umaabot sa P9,834,548.76. Pasok sa top 10 sina: -Benedicto Jose R. Arcinas Jr., executive vice president ng Government Service Insurance -System (P8.97-M); -GSIS Senior VP Henry Rhoel Aguda (P8.35-M); -GSIS President and General Manager Robert G. Vergara (P8.32M); -GSIS Senior VP Nora Saludares (P7.64-M); -Luis F. Sison, president and chief executive officer ng Philippine National Construction Corporation (P7.593-M); -DBP EVP Benedicto Ernesto R. Bitonio Jr. (P7.588-M); -BSP Deputy Governor Juan de Zuñiga Jr. (P7.404-M) at; -BSP Dep. Gov. Diwa C. Gunigundo (P6.977-M). Noong 2010, ang highest grosser sa ulat ng COA ay si dating Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) chairman Efraim Genuino na tumanggap umano ng P287.4 milyong sahod at mga allowance, kasama na ang discretionary at confidential o intelligence funds. Si dating Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Administrator Armand Arreza naman ang sinasabing tumanggap ng pinakamalaking sahod at mga benepisyo noong 2009 na umabot sa P26.865 milyon, kasama na ang P15 milyon na intelligence fund allocations sa kanyang tanggpan. - RP/FRJ, GMA News
