Smart: SMS to other networks may be delayed

A technical problem may delay text messages to and from other networks, Smart Communications advised its subscribers Wednesday night. In its advisory, Smart said the problem, which it described as a temporary disruption, may affect both its postpaid and prepaid subscribers. "Your SMS may have been delayed or failed to reach the intended recipient," it said, adding the technical problem was with the "receiving network." It said efforts are being made to restore services back to normal, "in cooperation with the receiving network." Smart did not immediately say when normal services would be restored. — DVM, GMA News
