Learn how to cook like Heston as the culinary genius showcases his domestic side

Better known for his fearless and innovative trademark creations like absinthe jelly, bacon-and-egg ice cream and snail porridge, Heston Blumenthal sheds his chef whites and steps out of his famed Michelin-starred restaurant – The Fat Duck – to reveal some of his culinary secrets to the home cook. 

 

In "How to Cook Like Heston," the kitchen magician transforms six popular but simple ingredients – chicken, beef, eggs, chocolate, potato and cheese – into incredible, memorable dishes. 

 

Each episode will feature three recipes based on the featured ingredient, an excuse to bring out a few power tools, and lots of practical tips like why you should never boil an egg and where you should store your dry ice. 

 

"How to Cook Like Heston" premieres every Monday at 7:00 p.m., starting March 4. Encores every Monday at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
