Shell to slash fuel prices effective Sunday

A major oil firm will slash prices of its fuel products on Sunday, following the lead of two smaller players in the oil industry. Pilipinas Shell said the rollback will reflect changes in prices in the international oil market, radio dzBB reported Saturday. The report said the price slash will take effect at 12:01 a.m. Sunday. It includes:
- 90 centavos per liter for unleaded and premium gas - 90 centavos per liter for diesel - P1 per liter for kerosene
Earlier, Seaoil and Flying V rolled back prices of at least four of their products effective Saturday. Both companies reduced prices by: - P1 per liter for premium and unleaded gas - P1 per liter for kerosene - 90 centavos per liter for diesel - 50 centavos per liter for regular gas
