FIREWORX, a leading pyrotechnic company from Australia, will once again bring their award-winning pyrotechnic display for the 4th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition.   As last year’s competition runner up and crowd favorite, Brisbane-based FIREWORX vows too wow the audience with an even more breathtaking performance this Saturday, March 16, at the SM Mall of Asia grounds.   “We had such a wonderful time at last year’s competition and we were very happy to have been invited back.  Our display this year will be even grander, which I am sure will please our Filipino audience,” said FIREWORX’s founding director, Ian Riedel.

The innovative company uses FireOne, the premier firing system in the world, which digitally allows them precise orchestrations of their pyrotechnic display to musical scores. FIREWORX’s performance at this year’s Pyromusical competition will feature famous movie soundtracks.     FIREWORX represents a tradition of excellence in pyrotechnic innovations and practices that have made Australian events featuring fireworks displays highly anticipated the world over. Riedel has been at the helm of many noted milestones in Australian Pyrotechnics – from the inaugural fireworks display on Sydney Harbor Bridge and the firing of the first 24” Shell in Australia, to Australia’s longest fireworks display in Brisbane, which ran for 16.4km.  He is Australia’s longest licenced Pyrotechnician and is recognized as a pioneer in the field of pyrotechnic design.      Aside from their pyrotechnic and creative innovation, FIREWORX is also known for their green initiatives. The company uses only biodegradable fireworks cases and components that dissipate and quickly break down. FIREWORX also only use reusable mortars for firing shells, and reuses all of their waste products such as cardboard boxes and copper wiring.      From green initiatives in sourcing and assembly, through state-of-the-art technologies, and down to performance design innovations, this dynamic company carrying the Aussie colors guarantees their Filipino audiences and other guests that, first place or not, Saturday will be a truly heart-stopping, crowd-pleasing audio-visual feast for the senses that is not to be missed.
