Facebook debuts on Google Glass

Facebook may be on its way to Google Glass this early, albeit via a third-party app for the moment, a tech site has reported.

 

The app treats Facebook as a contact with which a user can share photos taken with Google's Glass, tech site Mashable reported.

 

"Photos show up as a small square on your profile, but you can click into them to view them full screen," Mashable said.

 

But Mashable noted that for now, the website of TesseractMobile, the app's developer, may trigger security warnings on browsers.

 

It said this could be due to the site’s root certificate. "So install at your own risk," Mashable said.

 

On the other hand, it also noted Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told Google’s Sergey Brin earlier this year he couldn’t wait for Glass.

 

This could mean an official Facebook app come can be expected soon. — TJD, GMA News
