The GlobalPort Batang Pier got their first taste of the PBA quarterfinals during the 2013 Governors’ Cup. Not satisfied with their one-and-out showing though, the newest of the PBA franchises has undergone a radical facelift entering the 2013-14 PBA season.

GlobalPort’s moves started in the offseason when they dealt away Gary David. Then during the draft, they pounced on Barako Bull’s desire to deal away their picks, doubling their haul over the first two rounds. As a result, they came away with an intriguing rookie trio - RR Garcia, Terrence Romeo, and Nico Salva.

The Batang Pier continued to make moves after, shipping out their oldest player, Willie Miller, while swapping rookies with the San Mig Coffee Mixers. Finally, needing a veteran voice, they went and brought in Eric Menk from Barangay Ginebra.

Check out the infographic for a recap of all of GlobalPort’s moves, and then tell us how you think they fared in the poll below.

What grade would you give the GlobalPort Batang Pier for their offseason moves?

A - They'll be legit contenders this season

B - Great moves but they'll need a bit of luck to go far in the postseason

C - Good, but they're still at the same level as before

D - I think they became a bit worse

F - I expect this team to be at the bottom of the standings anew

INC - I still need to see how they play together
