Pulis, sumabak sa 2014 Misters of the Philippines; PNP, suportado ang kabaro sa pageant

Kabilang sa 27 kandidato sa Misters of the Philippines ngayong 2014 ang 29-anyos na si Police Officer 2 Mariano Perez Flormata, Jr., na gamit ang alias na Neil Perez sa nasabing kompetisyon.
Nagtapos si Flormata sa Manuel L. Quezon University at kasalukuyang naninirahan sa Tondo, Manila. Halos anim na taon na rin siyang nagsisilbi sa bilang miyembro ng Aviation Security Group.
Ayon sa isang pahayag mula sa Philippine National Police (PNP), sinabing buo ang suporta ng kapulisan sa binata, na itinuturing nilang ehemplo ng magandang kalusugan at mabuting pamumuhay.
Kasabay nito, hinikayat ng PNP ang bawat pulis na panatilihin ang mabuting kalusugan at magandang pangangatawan upang mapagsilbihan ng mabuti ang bansa at maprotektahan ang publiko.

Itinuturing ni Flormata na isang oportunidad ang pagsali sa nabanggit na taunang pageant para sa kalalakihan.
"Misters of the Philippines pageant can bring additional opportunities for me in terms of exposure which will eventually help me financially. Through this pageant, I can also show to other people that I can do more aside from being a Police Officer," aniya.
