WATCH: Samsung twits Apple over 'Bendgate' in new video

Samsung took yet another jab at Apple's iPhone 6 Plus with a new video showing how slim yet unbendable its new Galaxy Note 4 phablet is.

In a video posted on YouTube, Samsung demonstrated a so-called three-point bend test that includes a simulation of the device being sat on repeatedly.

The video went on to claim the Galaxy 4's secret lay in its metal frame, magnesium bracket and mutually reinforcing structure.

As a result, it said its Galaxy Note 4 is "big, thin and light, but strong."

The ad, of course, was a shot at Apple over reports of the iPhone 6 Plus' tendency to bend, which has since been dubbed as "Bendgate."

"Samsung didn’t mention the iPhone by name, but it’s a clear jab at Apple after the company has come under heat in recent weeks over the fact its new iPhones may be less durable than previous generations," 9to5google.com noted.

"You know what this means. We’re about to see a ton of YouTubers sitting on their new Galaxy Note 4 when the device launches stateside this month."
