A rainy morning greeted komiks fans at the 10th annual Komikon at Bayanihan Center in Pasig City, but it did nothing to dampen their enthusiasm for the art form many of them love best.
As early as 10:30, the tiangge floor was already swarming with comic collectors and enthusiasts, with some of them lining up to have beloved copies signed by popular komikeros.
This year's Komikon also saw the return of Indieket, where indie komikeros sold their works and other merchandise for as low as P20.

Cosplayers began appearing in the afternoon, a standout among them being No Face from Hayao Miyazaki's award-winning animated film, “Spirited Away.”
Events included panels on webcomics, a session with Filipino artists employed at US comic publishers Marvel and DC, and the Komikon Awards, where readers vote for their favorite writers, artists, and works.
