Pacquiao to be judge at Miss Universe pageant

(Updated 11:43 a.m.) Now it's official: Filipino boxing champ and Sarangani Rep. Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao will be one of the judges in the 63rd Miss Universe pageant this Jan. 25.

The Miss Universe Organization announced Pacquiao is part of the panel of judges on its Facebook account.

It described Pacquiao as "Fighter of the Decade, eight-division world champion and Filipino Congressman."

Other celebrity judges include:

Kristin Cavallari, TV host and shoe designer.
William Levy, TV and film actor previously named People En Espanol’s Sexiest Man Alive.
Lisa Vanderpump, star of “Vanderpump Rules” and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”
Louise Roe, fashion journalist, author, host of “Plain Jane” on MTV International and the upcoming TLC fashion series, “Style By Jury”

The Philippines is fielding Mary Jean "MJ" Lastimosa as its bet to this year's pageant. — Joel Locsin/VC, GMA News
