Iya Villania reacts to Nikki Gil 'virginity' controversy

Last January 8, Iya Villania made headlines after defending her best friend Nikki Gil against a basher on photo sharing site Instagram. 

 

The said basher with the Instagram username @_mrsencar questioned the truthfulness behind Nikki’s claim of her pre-marital sex pledge. 

 

Iya replied to the comment in defense of her long-time friend.

 

After her comment was much talked-about and even headlined on entertainment sites and papers, the Kapuso star reacted through Twitter. 

 

 “Seriously though guys... Being a virgin doesn't have to be such a huge deal (even though it was for me.) It can be done, there are still many girls out there who still hold onto their virginity. Premarital sex was once a huge no-no! And now being a virgin is impossible?!? What's the world coming to?? #Respect #IwouldKnow #NoJudging,” Iya tweeted.
 

Also, the Taste Buddies' host left a piece of advice for the netizens.
