The unnamed Filipina, however, will have to undergo a 10-day quarantine at home as part of protocol, according to a News TV Live report Friday, citing the Department of Health (DOH).
The report said the nurse, who arrived from Saudi Arabia on February 1, was allowed to leave the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine in Muntinlupa City after passing her tests.
With her recovery, the Philippines no longer has an active case of MERS-CoV, the report quoted Acting Health Secretary Janette Garin as saying.
The DOH first confirmed the country's first MERS-CoV case last February 12. It tracked down some 200 passengers of the flight that brought the nurse back to Manila.
