After days of speculation over his identity, the now Internet-infamous driver of a counterflowing Jaguar in Taguig has finally come forward and apologized for his behavior.
Last April 24, a dashcam video shared by Top Gear Philippines went viral because it showed a black Jaguar counterflowing on the inner lane of a road in Bonifacio Global City.
The Jaguar's driver got out and berated the video taker for blocking his path. "Ang luwag-luwag sa kanan eh!" he could be heard shouting.
SOME KIND OF WOWThe sense of entitlement is strong with this one. From PD CJ NL DeBelen: "This is our Philippines. I will not allow ignorance and arrogance to pass and breed some more."

Keen-eyed netizens identified the Jaguar's plate number as ZPU 562, which GMA News Online ultimately traced to a rental vehicle currently owned by Jaguar Philippines.
The driver of the Jaguar in question finally came forward on Tuesday, April 28, and apologized for his behavior.
In an exclusive interview with GMA News' Jiggy Manicad, Joel Padiernos said that his ego had gotten the better of him.
"Dahil sa maganda ang sasakyan na dala ko, nasubukan kong magpatakbo nang mabilis. Pero inaamin ko pong nagkamali po ako at humihingi ako ng tawad (sa kabilang driver) at sa publiko," said Padiernos, a driver for the Bright Response Manpower Agency.
The agency determined that the incident happened in February this year, but only surfaced this April in the wake of the video's virality.
Joseph Estrella, Bright Response's managing director, said that Padiernos faces not only a reprimand but also suspension.
"Hindi po namin palalampasin ito... Definitely, Mr. Padiernos will be meted an appropriate administrative sanction," Estrella said. — GMA News
