Google testing Chrome OS multi-display capability
Users of Google's web-centric Chrome OS can now use multiple monitors, with an experimental new feature rolling out on the developers' channel.
François Beaufort of the Chrome team said users can activate the feature by toggling the experimental flag "Unified desktop mode."
"Once it's enabled, applications like Citrix Receiver or Chrome Remote Destkop will definitely take advantage of this mode," Beaufort said.
But he said the relatively new feature could still have issues "like displays with different height not very well supported."
He urged users to report feedback to the Chrome Team by pressing <Alt> + <Shift> + i.
A separate article on 9to5google.com said this allows users to run a multi-display setup of Windows from their Chromebook.
"For those who want a simple, easy-to-use computer but might need to use Windows periodically for one or two specific applications, this will be a huge boon and make the Chromebook that much more versatile," it said. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
