Google Chrome is getting back its old bookmark manager
Citing feedback, Google is bringing back the good old bookmarks manager for its Chrome browser, and getting rid of the new one.
In a blog post, the Chrome team said it is "committed to improving Chrome’s bookmarks experience."
"(F)or the time being, we’ve decided to bring back the previous version. Our team will continue to explore other ways to improve the bookmarks experience. You’ll see the previous version of the bookmarks manager return to your Chrome browser shortly," it said.
As for those who liked using the new bookmarks manager, they can now download and install it as an extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Tech site The Next Web said the new bookmarks manager was not too popular with users.
"When Google launched the new bookmark manager complaints started quickly flowing in on the Google Product Forums that it was confusing and hard to use," it said. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
