Grace Poe, Chiz Escudero show up at FVR’s Makati office

Senators Grace Poe and Francis Escudero visited former President Fidel V. Ramos at his Makati City Office, a tweet by Escudero showed on Friday.

Escudero's late father, Salvador, was a secretary of agriculture in Ramos' Cabinet.

Poe recently topped the most recent presidential preference surveys by both the Social Weather Stations and Pulse Asia.

She has expressed preference to run alongside Escudero if she decides to run for a higher position in 2016.

President Benigno Aquino III recently met with Poe, Escudero and Interior Secretary Mar Roxas to discuss next year's elections.

Aquino said he was nearer to deciding who to anoint as his successor after the meeting.

Poe and Aquino earlier this week met for five hours.
