For their achievement, Relics was awarded USD 20,000 (Php 900,000), as well as the right to represent Southeast Asia in the Americas Championship. Here, they will do battle with the winners of the Latin America, North America, and Australia and New Zealand championships. The top two teams to emerge from the Americas Championship will then proceed to BlizzCon 2015.

As the first runner-up of the Southeast Asia Regional Finals, Bibingka went home with USD 12,000, which is around Php 540,000.

Though we failed to secure a spot in the Americas Championship, the future remains bright for team Bibingka and the other Philippine teams. We can expect to see more of them in the next “Heroes of the Storm” season commencing sometime this year. — TJD, GMA News
