Heart Evangelista collaborates with poet Arnel Patawaran for new book

Ilang araw lang matapos ipakita ang collaboration nila ng fashion designer na si Mark Bumgarner sa “Mark Bumgarner x Love Marie” nitong linggo, muling nakikipagtulungan sa isa na namang artist ang Kapuso actress na si Heart Evangelista para sa panibagong proyekto.

Sa pagkakataong ito, matapos maitampok ang mga painting ng aktres sa canvas, children's book, beauty book, luxury bags, at mga damit, makikita naman ang mga obra ni Heart sa isang poetry book.

Tampok sa cover ng librong “Hai Na Ku and other poems” ng Filipino poet na si Arnel Patawaran ang painting ng Kapuso actress.

Ayon kay Heart sa isang Instagram post, “Then my painting was printed on the cover. A collection of poems and pages of my paintings. A collaboration with my dearest @aapatawaran. Thank you once again! #lovemarie #lovemarieillustrations SOON!”

Sa katunayan, sinulatan niya pa ng isang liham sa special stationary ang aktres upang makumbinse itong makipag-collaborate sa kaniya.

Aniya, “When one of @iamhearte's new paintings struck me and I thought it would be a dream to have it accompany one of my poems in the book, I readily composed a text message to send to her, but I thought it would be too informal and disrespectful, let alone unpoetic. So I wrote her a letter, by hand, in a special stationery, and snail mailed it to her.”

“She received the letter in a day and called me with a resounding YES. It felt like The Proposal and — voila! — here we are, with a book of poems coming out soon, made up of our soulful longings, fractions of our souls,” dagdag pa niya.
