LOOK: Dennis Trillo bags Asian Star Prize in Seoul International Drama Awards 2016

Kabilang ang Kapuso actor na si Dennis Trillo sa mga kinilala sa ginanap na Seoul International Drama Awards 2016 nitong Huwebes, September 8, sa Seoul, South Korea.

Nakuha ni Dennis ang Asian Star Prize para sa kaniyang natatanging pagganap sa GMA Primetime series na “My Faithful Husband,” kung saan bumida rin ang Ultimate Star na si Jennylyn Mercado.

“Hindi mangyayari ang lahat ng ito kung hindi dahil sa aking Kapuso network, sa lahat ng mga sumubaybay sa 'My Faithful Husband,' sa aming mahusay na director na si @direkbinibini, sa aking magaling na manager @popoycaritativo,” ayon sa Kapuso actor.

Dagdag pa niya, “At siyempre walang Papaw kung wala si Mamaw @mercadojenny salamat sa inspirasyon at pagmamahal. Sa Diyos ang lahat ng kapurihan, maraming salamat po.”

Sa kaniyang acceptance speech, pinasalamatan din ni Dennis ang GMA Network, pati na ang kaniyang fans na walang sawang sumusuporta at nagmamahal sa kaniya.

“I would like to thank the Seoul International Drama Awards for this recognition. This is very special to me because it is given by the Korean people, who are well-known for creating the best dramas in the world. In the Philippines, we do our best to create quality programs for the Filipino audience, and this award will continue to inspire me in honing my craft as a dramatic actor,” aniya.

Pagtatapos ni Dennis, “I also would like to share this award with my home network GMA-7, my family, my loved ones, to all the Filipinos, and all my supporters. Thank you very much. Kamsahamnida. To God be the Glory. Mabuhay ang mga Pilipino!”

Bago magtapos ang gabi ng parangal, hindi pinalampas ng Kapuso actor ang pagkakataong makipag-selfie sa sikat na Korean actor at “Descendants of the Sun” star na si Song Joong Ki.
