Most banks, financial markets closed on Sept. 12 Eid'l Adha holiday
Most banks and financial markets, along with schools, offices, and government agencies in the Philippines are closed on Monday in observance of Eid'l Adha.
Bank of the Philippines Islands announced that all of its branches and offices will be closed due to the holiday.

However, select branches of Security Bank at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will be open.
Likewise, Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company said its branches at NAIA-3 and along Roxas Boulevard will be open.
Several branches of BDO Unibank, meanwhile, will be open on shortened banking hours.
There will be no trading on the Philippine Stock Exchange and the Philippine Dealing and Exchange due to the Islamic "Feast of Sacrifice." Trading will resume on Tuesday, September 13. — John Ted Cordero/VVP, GMA News
