Pia Wurtzbach dares detractors: Keep bashing

It has been two weeks since she passed on the crown, but Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach still gets bashing from some people.

Instead of lashing out at her detractors, the feisty Filipina beauty queen just left them a challenge: Keep bashing.

Pia shared her sentiments on Twitter last week, even taking time to express her support for Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina, who finished in the top six of the international pageant this year and has also been on the receiving end of negative comments.

“Keep bashing me & @maxinemedina but know that 'the one who's in front of the gun lives forever,'" she said, quoting words from a song by American rapper and songwriter Kendrick Lamar, before adding playful emojis.

The tweet earned praise from fans, who encouraged the beauty queens to continue moving forward.

Before this spirited statement, Pia had always been one to proudly express her love and support for Maxine.
