Truck transporting coconut oil catches fire along SLEX

A tanker truck transporting coconut oil caught fire along SLEX in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, according to a report on "Saksi" Thursday.

The driver said they were transporting coconut oil to Calamba in Laguna when a motorist noticed that there was fire underneath the vehicle.

They tried to use fire extinguishers to put out the fire but they were unable to do so.  Bureau of Fire Protection personnel arrived and was able to put out the flames.
