"‘Di Lang Ikaw" was nominated for Best R&B recording while "I’m Flying High" is in the running for Best Engineered Recording.

Kapuso singer Rita Daniela received two nominations in the 29th Awit Awards for songs in her self-titled debut album.

"‘Di Lang Ikaw" was nominated for Best R&B recording while "I’m Flying High" is in the running for Best Engineered Recording.

Rita released the album last year. It contains her rendition of "Fallin’" by Janno Gibbs which she was overwhelmed to have revived.

Together with GMA Records, she worked on the album for two years while balancing showbiz and her schooling. According to her, she wouldn’t have had it any other way since she’s happy with how the album came out.

According to its website (http://www.awitawards.com.ph), the final judging for the awards will be held next week.
