By Kristine Kang

Recently, Kyline Alcantara gave presents to the kids in Valenzuela city, along with Matthew Uy and Timothy Chan, her co-stars in their upcoming Philippine adaptation drama Shining Inheritance.

In her interview with showbiz reporter Lhar Santiago, Kyline confessed she's also feeling lonely and anxious in life. Despite her negative emotions, the Kapuso actress chose to continue to focus on her career as she's also thankful to her family and friends.

"They're my source of strength nowadays, especially for the past few days. (And) not just my family but, my brothers, my friends, like yung mga tao po talaga na nakikilala kung sino po ako," she said.

That's why she was excited to spend the Holidays with them, because she wanted to feel safe, secure, and loved.

Asked the question, "What color is your Christmas this year?," Kyline answered, "White because I just want peaceful, kapayapaan sa buhay. She then added, "Red kasi hindi po ako magpapaapak. Ako po'y lalaban pero hindi po sa isang maling paraan."

Kyline Alcantara promised that she will be fiercer, braver, and stronger as Kyline 2.0, in 2024.

Kyline Alcantara, aka La Nueva Kontrabida, will be returning to your TV screens via Shining inheritance, the local adaptation of the hit 2009 Korean drama of the same title. The new series will also feature her fellow Sparkle stars, Kate Valdez, Paul Salas, Michael Sager, and the veteran actress Coney Reyes.

The team has been busy taping for the drama, as seen in the "sneak peek" that Kyline posted in her Instagram account.
