Toni Gonzaga shares an important lesson she got from her dad

Toni Gonzaga is one of the most-loved actresses and hosts in show business today.

In one of her interviews, Toni proudly shared one of the important life lessons that she got from her dad, Carlito “Bonoy” Gonzaga.

The Filipina host shared, “Kasi ang daddy ko noon, driver ko, siya ang laging nagsasabi sa akin… hindi lang sa industriya, na kapag matampuhin ka, talo ka sa buhay.”

“Kapag pikon ka, matampuhin ka, mapagtanim ka ng sama ng loob, matatalo ka sa buhay. Kasi, ang bigat ng magiging pamumuhay mo. Palagi kang may bitbit. Laging sinasabi ng daddy ko 'yun,” she added.

She also highlighted, “Huwag kang magtatanim ng galit kasi bibigat ang pakiramdam mo, bibigat ang paningin mo. Parang maliit na bagay, triggered ka.”

Toni gave credit to her dad Bonoy and mom Pinty for shaping her into the good person she is right now.

“Lahat ng credit ibinibigay ko sa kanila [parents]. Sabi ko, kaya lang siguro ako naging matino sa buhay dahil nagabayan ako ng mga magulang ko,” she said.

She ended her statement with, “Siguro kung hindi ako nagabayan, baka wala wala rin ako sa buhay.”

Meanwhile, Toni is now happily married to director Paul Soriano.

She is also enjoying her motherhood journey with their two kids, Seve and Paulina.
