Frankie has recently been making noise on social media as well as creating headlines because of her strong statements about the current events in the Philippines.

She has been drawing more attention, making people wonder how her words and actions may affect her celebrity parents.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Frankie opened up, “A lot of people ask me nga, 'Ano 'yung reaction ng mommy mo, ng daddy mo sa pinaggagawa-gawa mo?'

"Wala silang reaction because they know that I'm like that. Because everyone in this house to a certain extent is matapang.”

Frankie admitted that she's aware of how she lives with an advantage, having a Megastar and a senator as her parents.

She also related how she is sometimes dismissed for having the comfortable life she shares as a child of public figures.

However, Frankie denies the assumptions about her.

She explained, “You don't know me. And that's the thing about my parents, e, them being exactly who they are.

"It might have made me a privileged kid but at the same time, it's exactly what made me so aware of like all of these issues.

“You see all these people. You meet all these people. You learn so much from so many Filipinos.

"In a really weird way, the exact same thing that kept me growing up in this bubble and the exact same thing that kept me like towards obviously the more privileged spectrum of our population, that exact position is also what allowed me to see everything like as clearly as I do.”

The 19-year-old celebrity kid also emphasized that though she was born into privilege, Sharon and Kiko intended for her and her siblings not to grow out of touch from reality.

She continued, “My parents fully raised us like in anticipation, na they didn't want us to be like spoiled bratty kids, you know.

"I'm not calling anyone a spoiled bratty kid but I just know that it's something they didn't want us to be.

"So, it was a priority talaga for them to like make sure that we were as immersed in our own culture as we could be.”

According to Frankie, she realized how differently she was raised when she entered an international school for high school.

She recognized her experiences as a kid weren't really normal and so she decided to make better use of them.

She shared, “A part of me is also like, 'We need to be doing more,' right? 'Cause when you have this privilege, you also have the responsibility.

"Like you have the responsibility to kind of make time for it, almost.

"And you have the responsibility therefore to stay educated, to stay aware, to stay immersed in these things because you're the precise person who can help.

"And so I think to me it became equated to duty and responsibility, and things like that.”
