Song Hye-kyo and Jennie Kim meet at the Met Gala

Among the few Korean celebrities seen at the Met Gala 2023 were Song Hye-kyo and Jennie Kim.

During the fashion fundraising event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the two Korean stars shared a few moments together captured on camera.

The Glory actress and the BLACKPINK member shared a selfie, showing their flawless visuals.

The photos made rounds on the internet, and netizens couldn't help but feel excited for the two beauties spotted in one frame and even spending time together at the fashion event.

Jennie was a charmer at the gala, dressed in a vintage black and white Chanel minidress from the 90's designed by Karl Lagerfeld. Meanwhile, Song Hye-kyo was dressed in a pink satin two-piece dress with white lace from Fendi.

In an interview with host Emma Chamberlain, Jennie talked about her outfit and attending the Met for the first time. A get-ready video of her from Vogue has also been released, where she gets ready for the Met. In the two-minute video, she shared updates about BLACKPINK's Born Pink world tour, which has been ongoing since October 2022.

Song Hye-kyo has been trending online recently after her big win at the prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards. She earned the Best Actress in a TV Drama award for her role as Moon Dong-eun in The Glory.
