Heart Evangelista is the cover star for MEGA's 29th anniversary issue
Heart Evangelista starts her birth month with a stunning cover for the special 29th anniversary issue of fashion magazine MEGA.

The longest and only standing fashion magazine in the Philippines celebrates its anniversary this year by having no less than the Queen of Creative Collaborations as their cover star.
Heart wore a dramatic pleated ruffled black dress by Rosbert Villar as she posed for the cover, draped in Bvlgari Serpenti jewelry.
The Kapuso star and fashion icon also wore another little feathery black number by Chris Nick for the inside pages.
Completing her second look is the 18-karat white gold Bvlgari Serpenti Viper necklace set with full pave diamonds, which matches with the Serpenti Viper bracelet and ring.

In the cover story written by Trina Epilepsia, Heart talked about how she's dealt with the abrupt changes that the pandemic brought on in her career and personal life.
“You know, the only constant thing in this world--[apart] from death and taxes--is change. I feel like this is part of the evolution of the world.
“If we fight it, we lose; if we just adapt to it, I think we're going to be fine. I feel like I've been adapting and I've been surviving.
“So let's just carry on and keep doing the same thing we're doing every day and I think we will be fine.”

She also reflected on how she has overcome the curveballs that life has thrown at her.
“Yes, you become stronger, but it's really more of character development. I guess I understand why each problem happened, because there's going to be another one.
“There's always going to be another one. Nobody has a perfect life and we just gain wisdom and immunity towards certain problems.
“I feel as I got older, and I feel like, only as you get older, you will understand and you'll learn how to deal with your problems or your broken dreams or your frustrations--stuff that could've been but didn't happen.”
Heart also talked about other topics such as self-care, dreaming big, and why it's important to make your home a happy, secure, and comfortable space, especially now that many are still working or studying from home.
