Why is Michael Cinco always wearing sunglasses?
Sunglasses or shades have always been part of Filipino Dubai-based fashion designer Michael Cinco's signature look. Aside from rocking a head-to-toe all-black outfit most of the time, Michael is always seen in public with a pair of dark or huge sunglasses.
Although it looks sleek and stylish, Michael recently revealed in his Instagram stories that his fondness of sunglasses has more to do with comfort and confidence than style.
The world-renowned and award-winning designer gamely answered questions from fans and followers on IG last week, since he said it was a holiday in Dubai and he had nothing better to do.
One netizen asked why Michael always wears shades. So, he replied: “I'm a naturally shy person and everytime I wear huge sunglasses, they give me confidence…and I have vertigo, I feel dizzy when it's too bright.”

Some fans also asked Michael about his favorite editorial shoot of all time and what was the most difficult gown he has ever made.
Michael revealed that his favorite editorial shoot of all time is his latest shoot in Venice for his eponymous fashion label. He considered the most difficult gown he has worked on is the butterfly Swarovski couture gown that took him 3,000 hours to finish.
The said gown with a 20-foot train was worn by actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

Aside from questions about his craft, Michael also answered some personal questions like how he wants to be remembered, will he ever get married and will he wear a Michael Cinco gown when he gets married.
Michael said that he wants to be remembered as a “a person with a kind heart who dreamt the impalpable dream.”
On the two questions regarding marriage, Michael said, “Yes, I wish to get married. If ever I won't be allowed to marry in the church, I'll take the church with me in this 20-foot long MICHAEL CINCO stained glass masterpiece.”
It looks like Michael was referring to the same stained-glass cape that Jennifer Lopez wore during her 2016 performance with Lin Manuel-Miranda on the Tonight with Jimmy Fallon.
