Need a birthday cake? Here are some bakeshops open for delivery during the extended ECQ

Although the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic seems to have pressed the pause button on most people's lives, the truth is, life goes on even if people are confined to their homes.

And knowing how resilient and optimistic Filipinos are, people will still find ways to celebrate birthdays and other occasions amid the extended enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), even by simply having a cake.

Below are bakeshops that are open for pick-up and delivery of cakes, to help you make that quarantine birthday or anniversary more memorable.

Kink Cakes

Kink Cakes specializes in customized cakes for different occasions. But, at the moment they will only be offering ready-made cakes for pick-up and delivery.

They're selling Double Chocolate flavored cakes with Marshmallow Meringue icing for only 600 pesos. For inquiries and reservations, you may contact the numbers provided on their Facebook page.

Conti's

Conti's Bakeshop and Restaurant is open for delivery of cakes and other foods. However, the cakes are currently not available in their online store.

So, to order cakes, you need to call their hotline 8580-8888 or directly call the Conti's branch near you. You may also order their cakes via GrabFood PH.

Red Ribbon

Red Ribbon Bakeshop has select branches that are open for pick-up and delivery of cakes nationwide. Yes, they have stores open in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao!

Take note that they are operating with a limited menu of products, so some of your favorites may not be available.

For customers in Metro Manila, Rizal, and Cebu, you may order cakes through their FB Messenger app.

Goldilocks has also opened some of its branches nationwide. To order, you may call their hotline at 8888-1-999 or go to their official website.

Their delivery schedule is from 10 AM to 5 PM only. Take note also that their delivery service is available in select areas in Manila, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Makati, Quezon City, Taguig, Parañaque, San Juan, Marikina, Cavite, and Rizal.

To confirm whether the Goldilocks branch near you is open for delivery, it's best to call the store directly.
