By Marah Ruiz

Your Name is a 2016 Japanese animated romantic fantasy film written and directed by animator, filmmaker and manga artist Makoto Shinkai.

It tells the story of Mitsuha Miyamizu, a high school girl who lives in Itomori and Taki Tachibana, a high school boy in Tokyo who intermittently switch bodies.

They soon discover that they are separated by three years and must help each other to stop an impending disaster.

Your Name is a huge commercial success in Japan and also proved to be a hit when it hit shores of other countries.

It also received accolades like Best Animated Feature at the 18th Bucheon International Animation Festival, Best Director for Makoto Shinkai at the 29th Nikkan Sports Film Award, Best Animated Film at the 2016 Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards and many others.

In one of the animated film's scenes, Taki's friends combined a croquette from a lunchbox and a convenience store egg sandwich to make a more filling and satisfying snack.
