By now, people are used to wearing face masks and face shields and observing other safety protocols when in public places. And we have had a lot of different “new normal” set-ups in different aspects of our lives, including when dining out.

Since social or physical distancing and proper ventilation are crucial in preventing the spread of COVID-19, al fresco or outdoor dining has been the preferred set-up when eating out.

Hence, since late last year when the quarantine restrictions eased and people were finally allowed to dine in restaurants or malls, food spots have mostly transitioned to an al fresco dining set-up with safety protocols in place.

Robinsons Magnolia's The Garden

Robinsons Magnolia has a spacious and beautiful al fresco dining area called The Garden. Mallgoers and their loved ones can enjoy great food and the bright, vibrant view and peaceful and quiet ambiance in the outdoor dining spot.

They have a contactless menu, where guests can simply scan the QR code located at the table to access the restaurant's menu and contact details. Food will be delivered straight to the guests' table by partner establishments such as Cibo, Max's, Fiery Style, Mesa, Akira, Kamicos, Sumosam, UCC Park Café, Pho Hoa, Kaya Korean Restaurant, and Black Scoop.

The Garden is open from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM during Mondays to Thursdays and from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Fridays to Sundays.

Uptown Parade's Patio Pop-Ups

Uptown Parade has a special outdoor dining set-up called the Patio Pop-Ups, where guests can dine and enjoy the breezy, relaxing vibes from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM until March 14.

Mercato High StrEAT/Garden StrEAT Bonifacio High Street

Mercato High Streat prides itself of being a safe al fresco dining spot for foodies who want to enjoy the signature dishes from their BGC's top restos and small food entrepreneurs. They're open every weekend, Friday to Sunday from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

The Podium's The Roofdeck

If you want a safe outdoor dining experience in a very Instagram-worthy space, you should definitely book a table at The Podium's The Roofdeck. Their partner restaurants include Yaku, Basil, Uma Uma, Meet Fresh, Cocina Peruvia, Lola Cafe, New Bombay, and Feast Bay.

Venice Grand Canal Mall's McKinley StrEAT Market

If you're in the Taguig area, you can enjoy a safe and awesome al fresco dining experience at the Venice Grand Canal Mall's McKinley StrEAT Market. They're open on weekends from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
