Quezon City launches swabbing booths for COVID-19 testing

By Cherry Sun

The government of Quezon City makes COVID-19 testing safer and more efficient for healthcare workers as it launches several swabbing booths in different hospitals in the city.

The development was announced on Quezon City Government's Facebook page.

The swabbing booths materialized with the help from the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc., Datem Incorporated, and USHER Technologies.

Since the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine, government officials have innovated and launched several initiatives to address the needs of their constituents while adhering to the guidelines released by the national government in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.

President Rodrigo Duterte also announced yesterday, April 7, the extension of the enhanced community quarantine until April 30, 2020.
