Ashley Ortega tests negative for COVID-19

Kapuso actress Ashley Ortega shared that she has undergone a swab test for COVID-19 at home, and tested negative for the disease on Thursday, August 6.

Ashley also related that her family members also tested negative and have heaved a sigh of relief.

The session was pretty much documented on her Instagram Story. And the waiting game for the result took only 15 minutes.The frontliners were on full protective gear and had brought the needed materials for the tests.

Meanwhile, to help frontliners and the authorities combat coronavirus-induced problems including hunger, Ashley has taken an initiative to feed and hand out food packs and ready-to-eat meals to some disadvantaged families in Metro Manila in the first months of community quarantine.

She braved the current risky situation and personally delivered the food to some street children and their parents.

She also helped GMA Kapuso Foundation in repacking food supplies catered for daily wage earners with her fellow GMA Artist Center artists.
