Ahtisa Manalo

Miss Cosmo Philippines Ahtisa Manalo continues to be in the running for the Miss Cosmo International crown.

It's a little over a week until the coronation night for the 2024 Miss Cosmo International pageant and The Miss Philippines organization is campaigning hard for the country's representative, Ahtisa Manalo.

In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, The Miss Philippines organization called on Filipino pageant fans and followers for a last push so Ahtisa can with the National Pride Award. The National Pride Award is the second stage of the Cosmo People's Choice Award.

The Miss Philippines organization had earlier campaigned for votes for Ahtisa, sharing that winning the National Pride Award would give her a media promotion package, including media, OOH, and TV coverage to promote themselves and their country. Ahtisa also stands to win a “Hope Star”, which will double her points during the final stage of voting.

Ahtisa has already won the “first station” of the Miss Cosmo International's People's Choice Awards after The Miss Philippines organization campaigned hard for Ahtisa, sending out a call for votes.

Aside from that, the Miss Philippines organization also successfully campaigned for 1 million votes for Ahtisa in the Miss Cosmo Social Ambassador challenge.

Aside from dominating in the online voting, Ahtisa also charmed pageant fans with her national costume made by Filipino designer Ehrran Montoya. In one of the posts, The Miss Philippines explained that the costume was inspired by Mars Ravelo's superheroine, Dyesebel.

According to the caption, the costume is meant to be a celebration of “iconic Filipino artistry while giving a nod to our nation's rich mythology.”

Ahtisa has also debuted her Miss Cosmo International introduction video on the Miss Cosmo International Instagram account.

In the video, Ahtisa revealed that despite having the opportunity to represent the Philippines in another pageant, she chose to compete in the Miss Cosmo International pageant. She also shared how growing up, she had very little access to “good schools” and “opportunities”, but she turned to pageantry to lift herself up.
