The Miss Cosmo Jury Sessions is the first major activity Ahtisa Manalo is participating in after her sprained ankle.
The Miss Cosmo International coronation night is just a couple of days away, and Miss Cosmo Philippines Ahtisa Manalo is set to face the pageant's jury as she works to win the Philippines' first Miss Cosmo International crown.
In one of the more recent posts on The Miss Philippines Instagram account, the organization announced that Ahtisa will be taking part in the Miss Cosmo 2024 Jury Session tonight, October 3, at 7 p.m., Philippine Time. The Jury Sessions will be streamed on the Miss Cosmo YouTube channel.
Ahtisa's participation in the Jury Sessions comes after she suffered a sprained ankle that led to her missing some of the Miss Cosmo International activities. In a statement released by The Miss Philippines, the organization explained that Ahtisa had opted to rest instead “so she can be well enough to take on the coming challenges.”
The Miss Philippines organization has been pushing hard for Ahtisa's Miss Cosmo International campaign, just recently calling for a “last push” of votes so Ahtisa can win the National Pride Award, the second stage of the Cosmo People's Choice Award. Ahtisa would go on to place second in the stage.
Ahtisa is currently in the lead for the final stage of the Cosmo People's Choice Award, which is the Big Bang stage. Alongside her in the rankings are Tanzania's Lujeyn Ahmed, Thailand's Mook Karnruethai Tassabut, Colombia's María Alejandra Salazar, and Vietnam's Bui Xuan Hanh. The delegate who wins the Big Bang stage will take a spot in the Miss Cosmo International Top 10.

Ahtisa previously won the “first station” of the Miss Cosmo International's People's Choice Awards thanks to a call for votes sent out by The Miss Philippines organization.
It was also The Miss Philippines organization's successful campaigning that led to 1 million votes for Ahtisa in the Miss Cosmo Social Ambassador challenge.
Ahtisa has already wowed pageant fans with her national costume made by Filipino designer Ehrran Montoya and inspired by Mars Ravelo's superheroine, Dyesebel.
Ahtisa was named the country's Miss Cosmo Philippines representative last May during the Miss Universe Philippines pageant. Chelsea Manalo won the Miss Universe Philippines crown, while the Miss Supranational Philippines crown was awarded to Tarah Valencia. Alexie Mae Brooks was named Miss Eco International Philippines while Cyrille Payumo was named Miss Charm Philippines.
