Is Jennie of BLACKPINK teasing a group comeback?

Jennie of BLACKPINK stirred quite the commotion after posting a photo of herself on Instagram yesterday, April 6.

In the social media site, the rapper and vocalist provided her fans with a series of updates like being on the cover of Harper's Bazaar Korea and what could be a hint to an upcoming comeback album.

In one of her posts, she simply wrote, “Studio life.”


The post sparked a lot of excitement from all her fans who have eagerly awaited the group's return following an entire year of hiatus.

Early March, Jennie already voiced her opinion that she wants to have a comeback album for the year 2020.

In an interview with Vogue Korea, Jennie was asked what she wants to achieve this year.

To which she claimed, “This year, come back with an album. That's it.”

BLACKPINK's last song and mini-album, “Kill This Love,” was released in April of last year.

As of this writing, there are no confirmed reports of their comeback and their agency, YG Entertainment, has yet to make a statement about the issue.

According to previous reports, BLACKPINK was expected to release a comeback album in the first half of 2020 but due to the coronavirus outbreak, all of the act's activities have been postponed or canceled.
