In an effort to make COVID-19 prevention more fun for kids and young-at-hearts, WHO and the UN Foundation enlisted the help of the well-loved characters from the 'Despicable Me' film series.

Steve Carell, who's also the voice actor of Gru, voiced the one-minute PSA.

In the video, Gru reminds everyone to practice physical distancing, stay active at home, and to be kind to one another.

WHO has also tapped the help of iconic character Mr. Bean in another PSA, where he unveiled his COVID-19 essentials list.

The PSA featuring the minions and Gru was originally released in May and was recently reposted by WHO on their official Facebook page.
