In an exclusive interview with GMA Network, Barbie talked about her experience as one of Cherie's students, her biggest learnings, and how these lessons reignited her love for acting once more.

According to Barbie, her takeaways from the lessons so far are “Acting is feeling, not thinking” and "You do what works for you."

Barbie also shared how Cherie is as an acting mentor and teacher, "She's very inspiring and surprisingly comfortable to talk to especially when it gets personal. She really listens and does not judge.

"I expected her to be strict and hard to please. I learned that in our class, the only person I should please is myself. She turned out to be the coolest teacher and the most genuine actor I now know."

Barbie also said that the masterclass made her fall in love with her passion again.

She has briefly worked with Cherie before in the 2014 drama series The Half Sisters.

Now that she has gained a bit of training under Cherie's wing, Barbie wants to try portraying a kontrabida role together with the veteran actress.
