Wil Dasovich mourns death of his YouTube idol Lloyd Cadena

Wil Dasovich is having a hard time to process the sudden passing of his friend, influential YouTube content creator Lloyd Cadena.

In a lengthy message on the community section of his YouTube channel, Wil recalled his fondest memories with Lloyd and admitted that his death hasn't sunk in to him yet.

He wrote, “It's been a few days but nothing has sunk in yet.

"Still trying to figure out how to process all of this as Lloyd is the closest friend I've ever lost in my life.

“It will be some time before I can start uploading again and make sense of everything but for now, it's time to reflect and remember the greatness of this amazing human being.”

The YouTuber added that Lloyd helped him a lot when he was still beginning his channel and called him both the “king and queen” of YouTube.

“He was the best since the beginning, he was #1, both the king and kween of youtube.

"Our community is shattered, our hearts are heavy, but we are healing one day at a time. I love you so much man!

“What I would give to run up and give u a great big hug like I do every single time we see each other.

"You were my youtube idol since I came on the scene and you were the comedian I always aspired to be, and also knew I could never be.

“You helped me transcend to become the creator I am today and there is not 1 youtuber who was more impactful on the community from the beginning than u were.”

Wil said that his thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Lloyd.

He also promised to his idol that when the COVID-19 pandemic ends they will all come together to celebrate what a beautiful human being Lloyd Cadena is.

“Your laugh still resonates through my ears and your spirit will remain forever within all of us.

“My heart goes out to BNT and all fam/friends of LC.

"I promise you, one day, even if it's by 2021 when all of this covid bs ends we will all come together and we will have a huge celebration of Lloyd's life and what he meant to this world! He was the best there ever was, unmatched! **DARNA SOUND EFFECT!** @Lloyd Cafe Cadena.”

In a statement released by Lloyd's family, they confirmed that the YouTube star died at the hospital after suffering from a heart attack while asleep.

Lloyd Cadena also tested positive for COVID-19.

Aside from Wil, other celebrities who paid tribute to Lloyd including Megastar Sharon Cuneta, fellow vlogger Kimpoy Feliciano and Ivana Alawi, and his favorite singer, international pop icon Mariah Carey.
