Why does Kris Bernal hate the heavy rainfall in Metro Manila during the wet season?

On her Instagram, the actress-entrepreneur spoke about the sad condition of commuters and bikers during the rainy season.

Kris explained that when the metropolis is hit with heavy rains, people have a hard time finding shelter.

She posted, “Motocyclists, bikers, commuters have the hardest time. And when the rain gets out of hand, it's a struggle to find shelter under the nearest bridge, tree, or shop.

“Cars also tend to splash water on them sometimes unintentionally. It can make driving more dangerous.”

The former StarStruck winner also pointed out that aside from flooding, street children are also susceptible to sickness during the wet season, too.

“It creates inconvenience and at worst it can cause floods which imperil lives, livelihood, and homes. The street children are catching colds.”

With all of these problems, Kris expressed her admiration to everyone who keeps on going even if the conditions seem to be perilous just to do their jobs.

“Don't get me wrong, I also understand why others love it and why we need it! Haaay! This is just me hating the rain! Ang sakit-sakit sa akin!

“Hands down and salute to those who conquer the dangers and hassle of the rain for their jobs!”

Kris also admitted that rainy weather affects her mood and makes her lazy.

“Another reason I loathe the rain is it affects a lot of people's moods. Rain makes me sad. Rain makes me lazy. My lifestyle and rain just don't mix well.”
